To begin our Tenant Spotlight series, we’re excited to introduce one of the many specialists who make up our thriving business community. As a serviced office, we’re fortunate to be home to a wide range of professionals, each with their own unique expertise and story to tell.
Today, we are putting the focus on Fenston Stamps, where Tim uses his specialist knowledge and passion to help clients unlock the value of their stamp collections, coins, medals, and collectables.
To learn more about his work and what drives the business, we caught up with Tim and asked a few quesions:
What does your business do?
We offer informed valuations of stamp collections, coins, medals and other collectable items. We can advise on the best method of sale to suit our clients, and we can arrange consignment through special auctions, offering wide online visibility across three internet platforms, backed up by a physical sale room.
What problems are you solving for your customers?
There are a number of different options available when the time comes to sell a collection of stamps, coins, or collectables. We can help clients navigate this process and give them the best chance of achieving the best price.
What do you like about being based here?
Kingdom House offers great access for surrounding areas, within easy reach of Exeter, Plymouth, Torbay and beyond. Our visitors benefit from easy parking and well-maintained, professional premises, and great team front-of-house and taking calls.
What motivated you to start the business?
Its a vocation, to be honest. You have to live it. You can’t ever really “clock off” but you do spend your working life engaged with something you are passionate about. That itself is a privilege, and one we personally don’t ever take for granted.
What’s one item you can’t live without at your desk?
Space.
